Board

Scott Fulton
Scott FultonChairman of the Board
Scott is the Chairman of the Board of DRIVE, a leading supplier of leasing and fleet management software solutions and the creator of the SaaS fleet management product ODO, which runs in the Oracle cloud.

Scott Fulton is an economics graduate and a capital markets specialist. From 1988 until 2000, he worked within London’s equity capital market as an Extel rated analyst in the Building and Construction sector for, amongst others, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse and ABN Amro. From 2000, Scott moved into financial public relations and investor relations (“FPR” and “IR”). He was the director responsible for IR and M&A at Financial Dynamics (now FTI), Citigate Dewe Rogerson (CDR), Just Retirement plc (now Just Group) and Asda Burson Marsteller (UAE).

On returning from the Gulf in 2015, Scott re-joined investment analysis at Whitman Howard (recently sold to Panmure Gordon) before moving into Proxy Solicitation, specialising in M&A, at Equiniti plc. Through his professional career, Scott has focused on and developed skills in investor relations.

He will work with Dr Julie Meyer, MBE, CEO of VIP, who led the acquisition of Drive Software Solutions in November 2019, and the subsequent repositioning of the firm towards EV’s, mobility and Europe.

Tim Shields
Tim ShieldsChief Technology Officer
Mr. Shields brings considerable and relevant experience of building companies from start-up to scale rapidly. Critically, he has done so across a number of industries, including Military, Telecoms, Work-from-home enabling tech, ERP/Vehicle Logistics and most recently FinTech. We believe that this experience equips Mr. Shields clearly to develop the ODO DRIVE software dashboard as the industry standard for Electric Vehicle (EV) fleet management.

Tim’s technical expertise spans a wide range of platforms, languages, and operating systems. Specifically, his primary focus has been designing, architecture and developing highly scalable, high availability platforms in the cloud (primarily AWS and Azure). Backed by his long history of Software Engineering and development, Tim can bridge the gap between the team of technologists and the rest of the company, ensuring that technology is aligned with commercial strategy, whilst understanding the unique problems presented to the engineering teams by emerging applications.

Prior to joining DRIVE and VIVA, Tim was the Chief Technology Officer of Money Dashboard, a personal financial planning tool. He served also as the head of Technology or Product at a number of scale-up companies.

Khasha Mekanik
Khasha MekanikGlobal Head of Business Development
Khasha graduated from the University of Wahington’s Foster School of Business, with a focus on Business Policy, Entrepreneurship & Innovation. However, his career started one year before graduating, when he was involved in his first start-up with partners. Khasha’s career has spanned, start-ups, company acquisitions, successful exits, and educational failures. Seven years ago, Khasha’s career took another shift into angel investments, which removed him from working directly in any one enterprise. As an investor over the last 7 years, he and his partner have executed on over 30 transactions, and have aggregated as many 30 other angel investors in some of those transactions. Khasha is the Head of Global Business Development, where he intends to manage any partnerships or distribution opportunities that involve enterprise-level entities.
